Christmas is coming…

Each Sunday at 9.30am in December Celebrate! will be meeting to worship God and thinking especially of Emmanuel – God with us in Human form as the new born Jesus. (Just like some of the tiny newborns who come along to Celebrate! at St Mary’s.) But Jesus came with the unimaginable task of showing each of us the way, through forgiveness, back to his father in heaven.

Be sure you are there for the fun and activities and songs and prayers and everything.

Special for December…

Saturday 9th in the morning – parents and children decorating the church Christmas tree in St Mary’s.

Sunday 10th at 4pm ‘Christingle’ – a lovely time at St Mary’s to focus on Jesus with us in the world and the work of the Children’s Society.

Sunday 24th at 4pm ‘Crib service’ – all about the birth of Jesus – be sure to get to St Mary’s early, this is a real crowd puller.

Christmas Day at 9.30am – extra special Celebrate!

2007…

New year, new start, your chance to try Celebrate! a new more relaxed style of worship at St Mary’s at 9.30am on Sundays.

Don’t forget Monday 8 January (the second Monday of the month) is a Men’s pub night at the Royal Oak from 7.30pm. All men are welcome. Ring Jerry (583296) or Andy (520534) for more details or catch them at any Celebrate!

You would be welcome at Celebrate! Plus at 8pm on Thursday 11 January. We’ll be able to spend some time catching up then over four weeks we’ll be unpicking what the new testament is all about – come along and ask some of those questions that have always puzzled you.
