Return visit of choir from Lambertseter kirke, Oslo

27 May 2001 Colin Smith, former choirmaster and organist at St Nicolas' and now at Den Norske Kirke, Lambertseter, Oslo. In May of 2000 the St Nicolas' choir visited Oslo and had a fantastic welcome, and a year later Colin brought his Norwegian church choir to Prestbury for a long weekend.  They joined the St Nicolas' choir in a motet at the 09:30 Eucharist (see picture above), and a concert in St Mary's at 18:30.

They joined the St Nicolas' choir for a concert in St Mary's at 18:30 before Compline.  Their programme included works by Boyce, Bruckner, Schubert and Rutter, as well as some Norwegian folktunes.
