- Old Testament Reading
- New Testament Reading (from the Letters of the Early Church, the Acts of
the Apostles or Book of Revelation)
- Gradual Hymn
- Alleluia (except during Advent & Lent)
- Gospel Reading
- Sermon
- The Creed or Profession of Faith
- Intercessions or Prayers for the World
- The Peace (a sign of peace, usually a handshake, is exchanged)
The Offertory
- Offertory Hymn
- during which the altar is prepared and gifts of bread and wine, of money
and of ourselves are offered
- Offertory Prayers
The Ministry of the Sacrament
- The Eucharistic Prayer
- during which the bread and wine are consecrated and we sing the Sanctus
and Benedictus
- The Lord's Prayer
- The Breaking of the Bread
- Agnus Dei
- Communion
- All those who would usually receive communion, regardless of their
tradition, are welcomed to receive the sacrament and all others are welcomed
to the altar for a special prayer of blessing
