groups. Occasionally volunteers are not able to attend sessions and we need to find
other leaders at short notice to help the groups to run. If you would be interested

group needed another person in order to run – please do get in touch with Andy
Macauly or with Fr David.

NEW LENT SERVICE BOOKS
You will have seen that the books for use at the Eucharist during Lent have been
completely revised this year. The idea is that they now match the shape of the
service at the other seasons of the year and should be easier to follow. I have to
apologise for one thing though and it is that in redesigning the covers the
introduction on the inside was brought forward from the material for Christmas and
Epiphany by mistake instead of what was intended. The error was only noticed after
the books had been printed and were about to be brought into use and will be
corrected in time for Lent 2011. Fr Stephen
REVD DAVID EADY
A farewell service to mark the retirement of the Revd David Eady will take place
on Sunday 28 February in St Lawrence’s, Swindon Village, at 3pm. It will
followed by tea in the Village Hall. All welcome.
